OK, OK. I know what you’re thinking. It’s been such a long time since there’s been a top ten list … actually, bout 2 1\/2 years … so, without further ado, here is …<\/p>\n

TOP TEN REASONS THAT I’LL WATCH “RIPLEY’S BELIEVE IT OR NOT” IN SPITE OF THE “EWWW, GROSS” FACTOR …<\/p>\n

10. Because with Dean on a weekly series again, there IS a reason to have a top ten list! <G><\/p>\n

9. Two words: fast forward<\/p>\n

8. The cute and humorous stories like the one about the talking dog … although if there hadn’t been subtitles, I would have sworn that the little fella was just yawning <G><\/p>\n

7. Dean’s Sears\/Botany 500 wardrobe … in this case, the MAN makes the clothes <G> … “Believe it!”<\/p>\n

6. Dean’s voice overs … that way I *don’t* have to see the “ewww, gross” stuff <G><\/p>\n

5. The inspirational stories about people overcoming adversity in their lives … gosh, Rose Siggins is an amazing person!<\/p>\n

4. New Dean stuff once a week … new Dean stuff once a week … hey, it’s actually *3* times if you watch the reruns <G><\/p>\n

3. The way he looks like he’s having so much fun … even when he tells you not to try this at home<\/p>\n

2. The Angry Dragon Entertainment logo at the end of the credits … WTG, Dean and Mike! It’s a great logo <G><\/p>\n

and the #1 reason that I’ll watch “Ripley’s Believe it or Not” again in spite of the “eww, gross” factor …<\/p>\n

1. Dean himself <G> … his warm brown eyes … his mole <G> … his easy manner in front of the camera … is … his … oh man, just about everything about seeing Dean works for me <G><\/p>\n

Well, there ya go. The first Top Ten list for Ripley’s … hope you enjoyed it <G><\/p>\n

Rest assured there will be others <G> … “Believe it!”<\/p>\n

OK. The fact that Dean was wearing the same outfit two weeks in a row on Ripley’s apparently has struck a nerve with some of us <G><\/p>\n

So, in deference to this particular topic, I present …<\/p>\n

TOP TEN REASONS THAT DEAN NEEDS A NEW OUTFIT EVERY WEEK<\/p>\n

#10 Leather is in this year <G><\/p>\n

#9 Black is always in<\/p>\n

#8 Becuase there’s more to the Sears collection than a brown suede shirt and dark blue turtleneck<\/p>\n

#7 I don’t know about anyone else, but I kinda miss all those ties Dean used to wear on L&C … even the loud obnoxious ones <G><\/p>\n

#6 I’ll admit that the “everyman casual” style looks good on him, but it’s just been *so* done <G><\/p>\n

#5 Three words: Dean in leather<\/p>\n

#4 Five words: Dean in black and leather<\/p>\n

#3 Has TBS ever heard the phrase “wardrobe change”?<\/p>\n

#2 Because for some of us (myself included <G>) ONE of the reasons we watch is to see what he’s wearing … it helps negate the “ewww, gross” factor to some extent <G><\/p>\n

And the #1 reason that Dean needs a new outfit every week …<\/p>\n

Um, did I mention that leather is in this year? <BEG><\/p>\n

OK, probably not the most definitive top ten list I’ve ever done, but I’m sure that many of us were\/are thinking the same thing …<\/p>\n

Boy, this show is tough to think of top ten topics for :\/<\/p>\n

Thanks to April for this one <G> …<\/p>\n

The Top 10 things we would like to see on Ripley’s<\/p>\n

10. Dean in different clothes (refer to top ten list #2 <G>)<\/p>\n

9. less “eww” more “wow”<\/p>\n

8. how about a show with some of the more humorous “believe it or not” items?<\/p>\n

7. more inspirational stories about people overcoming obstacles\/adversity is always good <G><\/p>\n

6. how about historical pieces on people who have done incredible things in their lives<\/p>\n

5. and of course, there’s always unlocking some of the secrets behind some of the more spectacular illusions by people like David Copperfield, Siegfried&Roy, etc?<\/p>\n

4. and what about thinking .. “That’s Incredible”<\/p>\n

3. or thinking … “How’d they do that?”<\/p>\n

2. or even thinking … behind the scenes looks at special effects in movies and tv<\/p>\n

1. More Dean … voice overs at the beginning, “Ripley’s will be back in a moment”, etc<\/p>\n

Yeah, yeah, I know what you’re saying. Not all of this is “believe it or not” material, but it would be neat to watch. And with some us who are natural skeptics, we have to see it in order to … believe it <G><\/p>\n

Ah well. It’s just a few random thoughts <G><\/p>\n
